An Office Suite was designed to have most, if not all, of your office software needs all in one package.  This was to add efficiency to the church, charity or workplace but also to save on overall costs.  They have become much better than in the early days of office suites and can still be sold as a whole or in pieces. 

The two favourite suites are Microsoft and Corel but there are plenty of alternatives.
